Larry Pratt is Executive Director of Gun Owners of America, a 300,000-member organization that promotes the Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms.
GOA lobbies for the pro-gun position in Washington, participates in firearm issues at the state level, and provides legal assistance in cases involving the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms.
Pratt has debated several members of Congress and has appeared on radio and TV programs such as the Today Show, Good Morning America, CNN’s Crossfire and Larry King Live.
Pratt serves as Vice-Chairman of the American Institute for Cancer Research and directs various public interest organizations. He previously held an elective position in the House of Delegates for the state legislature of Virginia. He has written several books, including “Armed People Victorious” and his latest, “On the Firing Line: Essays in the Defense of Liberty.”
