Rumors are ablaze that Paul Pelosi, the husband of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, set up an insurance servicing firm (a “Preferred Provider”) for ObamaCare whose primary function would be to collect premiums. Similar to mortgage-backed securities, actual servicing will be sold to and handled by a wholesale provider. If this allegation is true, then it would appear that the Pelosis are participating in a scheme to create an insurance bubble.
