The first salvo in the brewing political scandal that is threatening to engulf the Obama administration was the Rod Blagojevich affair in Illinois that was front-page news in 2008. In recent weeks, it has become known through the mainstream press that the White House employed Bill Clinton, Rahm Emanuel, and possibly other officials to offer jobs to Joseph Sestak and Andrew Romanoff if they would agree to drop out of their Senatorial races in their home state (Pennsylvania and Colorado, respectively).
