Weather modification is REAL and has been going on for DECADES

Multi-year droughts. Destructive tornadoes and typhoons. Floods called thousand-year events. Contrary to popular belief, the blame for such weather catastrophes should not be directed at carbon dioxide, which the human body exhales by design and makes up a mere 1% of the earth’s atmosphere.

Recently, a U.S. Senate report from 1978 began to circulate on the Internet that clearly stated that artificial weather modification programs were initiated in 1947, just two years after the end of World War II. You can download a PDF copy of the 750 page document by clicking here.

Skeptics reading this may contend that the aforementioned Senate report is a hoax or a Photoshopped document. If you were born after 1980, you may not be familiar with the Vietnam War, especially as it pertains to a formerly classified weather modification campaign called Operation Popeye.

Operation Popeye (also known as Operation Intermediary or Operation Compatriot) was a top secret campaign of weaponized weather modification during the Vietnam War, from March 20th 1967 until July 5th 1972. It got its beginnings three years after the enactment of Project Stormfury (1962–1983) and 30 years after the first known US weather modification operations called Project Cirrus, which began in February 1947. The intent of Operation Popeye was to extend the monsoon season over North Vietnamese and Viet Cong resupply routes throughout southeast Asia, particularly the Ho Chi Minh Trail.

Another document worth downloading and reading was written by a NASA employee named Homer E. Newell in 1966 and is entitled, “A Recommended National Program in Weather Modification: A Report to the Interdepartmental Committee for Atmospheric Sciences.” Click here to download a PDF version of Mr. Newell’s report.

You might ask, why would an agency or organization want to manipulate the weather? If you possessed the power and technology to manipulate the weather, you can directly influence and control food production and where and how people live.

Also, if you are under the impression that the U.S. is the only nation which has deployed weather modification technology, the 1947 document also confirms the involvement of foreign governments around the globe who have been engaged in climate engineering. For a recent case, please refer to the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing where China took proactive steps to ensure that the games would take place without rain.
