A leading advocate for election reform, Abbe Waldman DeLozier organizes events to educate the public about the dangers of electronic voting machines.
In 2003, DeLozier created a political awareness event that attracted 2,500 attendees called ‘Get Up, Stand Up! Rally For Your Rights!’ Featured speakers included Molly Ivins, Jim Hightower, Doris Haddock (Granny D), Reverend Joseph Parker, and Liz Carpenter.
In 2004, she helped organize a press conference at the National Press Club titled, “Hacking the Presidential Election: A Bipartisan Problem, Anyone Can Do It.” At the press club event, Bev Harris, Dr. Herbert Thompson, and Jeremiah Akin demonstrated six ways that election software could be easily hacked.
Co-author of a book titled, “Hacked! High Tech Election Theft in America: 11 Experts Expose the Truth,” DeLozier is a frequent guest on radio shows and volunteers for several organizations that advocate election reform, including the Election Defense Alliance, the Election Transparency Coalition, and VoteRescue!
