ITV plc Chairman Michael Green is an alumnus of the Haberdashers’ Aske’s school. Our guests contend that Samantha Cameron and her mother Lady Astor helped steer her husband (UK Prime Minister David Cameron) during a 7-year apprenticeship with Green at the City and Guilds of London Institute. In 1998, Green and Cameron formed ITV Digital as a pay TV service. Three years later on 9/11, a built-in ‘back door’ in the ITV Digital system allowed the Naudet Brothers to insert snuff film content into footage that was broadcast on mainstream TV.
