SAF sponsors educational and legal action programs designed to inform the public about the gun control debate.<\/p>\n<p>Alan received a degree in Nuclear Engineering from the University of Tennessee and attended the Institute on Comparative Political and Economic Systems at Georgetown University.<\/p>\n<p>A member of the working press, Alan maintains an active membership in the Outdoor Writers Association of America.
