Wayne Jett: Cap and Trade is a central planner’s scheme that will cost trillions

Wayne Jett is managing principal and chief economist of Classical Capital, LLC who will discuss the impact of the Cap and Trade bill passed by the House.

In a nutshell, the Cap and Trade bill, also known as HR 2454, will empower government bureaucrats to centrally plan and dictate how much Americans pay for their energy use, ultimately costing taxpayers trillions of dollars.

Since 2005, Mr. Jett has spoken extensively to chartered financial analysts in the U.S. and Canada about monetary policy reform and the dismantling of the current income tax system in favor of the Fair Tax.
