About Carla Rueckert
Carla L. Rueckert received her undergraduate degree in English Literature from the University of Louisville in 1966 and a master’s degree in Library Service in 1971. Intrigued by the cutting-edge work of Don Elkins, Carla left behind her previous career as a librarian and bibliographer when she became an integral part of his team at L/L Research in 1970, abstracting books and periodicals and writing correspondence on his behalf.

In 1974 Carla began channeling. In subsequent years, she has become best known for her work with the extraterrestrial source, Q’uo, whom she has channeled since the mid-1980s. Q’uo and Ra are both part of a group that calls itself “The Confederation of Planets in Service to the One Infinite Creator.” She continues her channeling efforts with non-trance meditation meetings that she conducts on Saturdays. She lives in Louisville, Kentucky, with her husband, Jim McCarty, whom she married in 1987.

Carla is known as the channel for The Law of One series of the early 1980s as well as the channel and/or author of many other books, including Secrets of the UFO (1976), The Crucifixion of Esmerelda Sweetwater (1989), A Channeling Handbook (1996), A Wanderer’s Handbook (2001) and A Book of Days; Channelings from the Holy Spirit (2007).
