Field McConnell is off-line this week. Listen to Rayelan and David to learn how snuff films, patent pools, keystones, and passports are linked to Charlie Chaplin, Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, and the S.E.S. (Senior Executive Service).
Arriving in the U.S. with an English vaudeville troupe in 1910, Charlie Chaplin began his movie career at Keystone Studios, which was headed by Mack Sennett. Chaplin made 35 films for Keystone before he moved on to Essanay Studios. During those early years, Chaplin appears to have developed or used a patent pool of snuff-film technologies.
Chaplin’s later years were marred by personal, political, and legal difficulties. Although Chaplin was never called to testify before the House Un-American Activities Committee, right-wing groups boycotted and picketed his films because of his liberal views. When Chaplin departed on an overseas trip in 1952, the U.S. State Department revoked his automatic re-entry permit.
A generation later, Hillary Clinton joined the Rose Law Firm in Little Rock, Arkansas, where she became involved in patent law and developed a patent pool of aircraft tracking technologies that were used to facilitate the 9/11 attack — the first live-broadcast, mass snuff-film in human history.
