California and Nevada could face major flooding problems in the near future, given the potential heat effects of 90 degree temperatures on the Sierra snowpack that amounts to 130 inches (over 10 feet) of water. Combine that with the already high water levels at Shasta Dam and the damaged spillway at Oroville Dam and this spells trouble in the making.
