Mired in multiple controversies, PG&E Corp. on Monday tried to quiet critics on two fronts.
The company reported that its customers won’t have to pay for chief executive Peter Darbee’s $34.8 million retirement package, widely attacked as lavish after Darbee announced his retirement last week.
In addition, the company granted a temporary reprieve to people who don’t want the new SmartMeters from Pacific Gas and Electric Co., PG&E Corp.’s subsidiary. Customers can now keep their old electricity and gas meters until state regulators approve a SmartMeter opt-out plan later this year, a company spokesman said Monday.

I recently got the good news that PG&E has decided to take the compromise solution to the concern over smart meters that we worked out for the Carmel area (see http://burnettforcarmel.com/smart-meters) and apply it state-wide.
Under the compromise, people who do not want smart meters can delay having them installed on their house or business until a formal opt-out program is developed and they are given a chance to formally opt-out.
Here is how it works:
1. You can call PG&E at 1-866-743-0263 (24/7) and ask to have your house put at the end of the list for the installations in this area.
2. I have requested and PG&E has agreed that they will not install a smart meter at your house until the Public Utility Commission (PUC) has had time to create an opt-out program and allowed you to opt-out.
3. The PUC could take 5 months or more to develop an opt-out program but don’t worry, you won’t have a smart meter installed during that period.
4. After the opt-out program is in place, PG&E will contact you to determine whether you still want to opt-out (there may be a fee or other steps associated with doing so).
PG&E is making a filing with the Public Utility Commission tomorrow to this effect.
It is nice to see that what we did locally is now being seen as a solution for our whole state.

Deborah and Lou Tavares, along with their tenants, are the latest victims of government corporate tyranny under UN Agenda 21-Smart Grid, by the smart meter enforcement upon them. This global government legislation, which has been jammed down the throats of all Americans, is being sold as “sustainable development”. The new name for the agenda has been labeled Atrocity 21.
The utility companies and the PUC are running rampant over utility customers. The people are being ignored even through smart meters are making them sick and invading their privacy.
On August 23, 2011 in Covina, California, Southern California Edison (SCE) instructed their field technician to use bolt cutters to remove “anti-vandalism” locks and personal property belonging to Tavares. The installer used forceful strong-armed behavior, as directed by a phone call to the SCE office. He was instructed to cut off the lock on Tavares’ meter cabinet door. This is strongly reminiscent of Nazi tactics used by the German Army in the 1930-40’s, when freedom of choice was being replaced with dictatorial law. The SCE installer threatened that the nearby parked car might get scratched as he continued to cut off locks and personal property belonging to Tavares.
SCE is not yet carrying guns, but the threats against the Tavares’ tenants were no less threatening. The tenant, fearing that harm to her person and property was about to occur, called 911.
The fear that some sort of Nazi-like tyranny is coming has spread across the country. The electrical companies working with ICLEI (International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives-UN Agenda 21) have tried to create the illusion that the smart meters are mandatory, that any choice to opt out is not permitted and that the Constitution is no longer valid. But that is not true.
Tavares became horrifed when they learned how dangerous the meter technology is. Infact they have since learned the technolgy was developed by the military. The bottom line is that a community does not have to be attacked from above, it can be attacked from within through the wireless RF radiation, EMF and dirty electricity from the smart meters. It was learned through reliable sources that the meters frequency can be increased radically by the utility company, as one would alter the power by a rheostat, a dimmer switch. This would make it possible to disable individuals and render them immobile. The military designed the technolgy used in the smart meters to control or disable a crowd.
Southern California Edison, PG$E and other major electrical service providers, across the country, are in fear that whisler blowers will soon disclose the truth.
The reason the President has relegated several billion dollars of his two trillion dollar stimulus package towards selling the smart meters to the public was not for their benefit. There is absolutely no financial or environmental benefit, what so ever. Absolutely none. The hidden Agenda 21 is an atrocity in the making – the size of which boggles the brains of above average intellect.
We must all not only stop this Atrocity 21 from taking place, but expose why the billionaire banksters have spent so much time and energy trying to sell what is possibly the worst idea launched by any President since Woodrow Wilson.
There is a resistance; the resistance is you. Our lives depend upon whether we act upon this alert or we ignore the threat.
This tyranny must be opposed, it is inhumane. All utility customers must halt the further installation of smart meters and understand the source of this insanity. It is directed by UN Agenda 21 – the “Absolute Abolition of All Freedom for All People for All Time.”
