Born in Zenica in 1960 when that city was part of the former country of Yugoslavia, Dr. Semir Osmanagich is the founder and president of Met Company, Inc., a metal fabricator located in Houston that provides products for the construction and oil and gas industries. For years, Dr. Osmanagich served on the Board of Directors for Alliance for Multicultural Community Services, a nonprofit that caters to the needs to refugees, immigrants, and low-income residents of Harris County, TX.
Dr. Osmanagich is the discoverer of an ancient pyramidal complex in Visoko (Bosnia-Herzegovina) that consists of five stone structures and an underground tunnel network. In 2007, he narrated a 12-episode documentary series called “Search for Lost Civilization” for Bosnia television station FTVBiH that was based on his book, “Civilizations Before the Official History.” Other books authored by our guest include “Pyramids Around the World” and “The World of the Maya.”
