Dr. Harry Croft evaluates PTSD treatment given to military veterans

Melinda Pillsbury-Foster shares an informative discourse with Dr. Harry Croft about the valuable resources he provides to military personnel and their families.

Dr. Harry A. Croft is a Distinguished Life Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association who has operated a private psychiatric practice in San Antonio for over 30 years.

Starting in 1973 during the latter years of the Vietnam War and continuing to today, Dr. Croft has evaluated and treated thousands of returning military veterans afflicted with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). An internationally recognized authority and lecturer on the subject of trauma, he hosted an award-winning television program called “The Mind Is Powerful Medicine” that enlightened San Antonio audiences for 17 years. Currently serving as Medical Director and Principal Investigator for the San Antonio Psychiatric Research Center, Dr. Croft is also the author of a book on PTSD called “I Always Sit With My Back Against The Wall.
